Joyce Stafford Ross, 70, of Weldon, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. She was the daughter of the late James Ely and Annie Lee Taylor Stafford.

She is survived by her husband, Ed Ross of Weldon; her daughters, Beverly Ray and her husband, Jay of El Dorado, CA, Traci Isles and her husband, Mark of Roanoke Rapids; her son, Tim Moore of Nashville; her stepdaughter, Kecia Kane and her husband, Dennis of Potomac, MD; 9 grandchildren, Zachary Isles and Tina Bullock, Lucas Isles, Tristan Moore, Ashton Moore, Brayden Moore, Annie Ray, Owen Kane, Matthew Kane, and Carter Kane.

Joyce enjoyed auctions, remodeling homes, going out with her girlfriends for Monday night dinner, cooking for her family on Sundays, and spending time with her grandchildren. She and Ed attended Rosemary United Methodist Church.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Ken Arrington and Rev. Robert Whitby officiating. Burial will follow at Cedarwood Cemetery in Roanoke Rapids. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 18, 2015 from 7:00 to 8:30 at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services.
